How does email work?
Sarah runs a small studio. Her email is sarah@gmail.com.
- 1. She connects her Gmail to Flexform (one click, “Continue with Google”).🔒 Flexform can’t read her inbox. Google only gives us permission to send the emails she writes, nothing else.
- 2. Tom fills her contact form: “Hi, I need a logo. What are your prices?” Sarah gets a notification.
- 3. Sarah replies from Flexform. Tom receives a normal email from Sarah:From: Sarah <sarah@gmail.com>
Hi Tom, thanks for reaching out! My logo package starts at $500… - 4. Tom hits Reply. His answer comes straight into Flexform, under Sarah’s message, and she gets notified.
That’s it. Flexform sends through Sarah’s Gmail, and can’t see anything else in it.
Use a work address? Works the same with Google Workspace (sarah@sarahstudio.com) and Outlook or Microsoft 365, with “Continue with Microsoft”.
How many emails can I send?
- Free: 100 emails a month.
- Pro: no limit from Flexform. Gmail and Outlook still cap how much you send per day (a few hundred). That’s plenty for replying to people, not for big newsletters.
Emailing a big list? Example: Sarah wants to email her 5,000 subscribers every week. Gmail can’t send that much, so she connects Resend or SendGrid instead: a few more setup steps, built for large volumes. We’ll set it up with you if you’d like.
